Water Filled Barricade System

The Water-Filled Barricade System is a versatile and impact-resistant channelizing device designed for efficient deployment in work zones, construction areas, or traffic redirection applications. Measuring 60 inches in length and 36 inches in height, each unit can be filled with up to 72 gallons of water or sand, offering enhanced stability while maintaining a manageable weight of just 50 lbs. when empty. This lightweight design allows for quick installation without the need for heavy machinery, and recessed forklift access points make it possible to reposition units even while filled. The system utilizes a tongue-and-groove connection with a secure pin to ensure fast, stable linking of units, enabling the barricades to conform to virtually any roadway layout—including turns up to 90 degrees.

Highly adaptable for a variety of site conditions, the barricades are stackable for easy transport and storage, with a capacity of 820 linear feet per truckload (164 units). Each unit features a light pocket compatible with standard barricade lights and can be upgraded with optional 55″ wide fence panels supported by 8′ tall, 3″ diameter posts. There is also a designated area for retroreflective striped sheeting to improve visibility. Available in high-visibility orange and white, with custom colors upon request, this system meets MUTCD standards and is MASH Accepted (WZ-387), making it a trusted solution for both temporary and long-term traffic safety needs.
